Leak discovered! Test operation of SmartEAR® reveals losses in the drinking water network.

During a test run of our SmartEAR® loggers in the urban area of the administrative community of Baunach, a leak was successfully located, which caused astonishment among those present. At the beginning of the test period, the SmartEAR® loggers sent conspicuously high frequencies to the POSEYEDON® cloud portal. A subsequent analysis with the CORRELUX C-3 confirmed the suspicion - the leak was precisely localized and a construction company was immediately commissioned to uncover the pipe. A direct hit! At the marked point, about 1.80 meters deep and 10-15 mm long, the leak became visible. At a pressure of 5 bar, it caused a water loss of around 15-20 m³ per day.
Once again, our technology was convincing and another loss point in the drinking water network of the town of Baunach was successfully closed.
