Leak detected! SmartEAR® test operation reveals losses in the drinking water network.
Bull's eye in test run on the drinking water network in the town of Baunach.
During a test run of our SmartEAR® loggers in the Baunach administrative district, a leak was successfully located, leaving those present in awe. At the start of the test, the SmartEAR® loggers transmitted unusually high frequencies to the POSEYEDON® cloud portal. A subsequent analysis using the CORRELUX C-3 confirmed the suspicion. The leak was precisely located, allowing a construction company to be immediately commissioned to expose the pipe. A direct hit! At the marked location, approximately 1.80 meters deep and spanning a length of 10–15 mm, the leak became visible. At a pressure of 5 bar, it was causing a water loss of about 15–20 m³ per day.
Once again, our technology proved its worth and another leak in the drinking water network of the town of Baunach was successfully repaired.
