Leak detected! SmartEAR® test operation reveals losses in the drinking water network.
Bull's eye in test run on the drinking water network in the town of Baunach.
During a test run of our SmartEAR® loggers in the urban area of the Baunach administrative community, a leak was successfully located, which caused astonishment among those present. At the beginning of the test period, the SmartEAR® loggers sent conspicuously high frequencies to the POSEYEDON® cloud portal. A subsequent analysis with the CORRELUX C-3 confirmed the suspicion – the leak was precisely located and a construction company was immediately commissioned to expose the pipe. A direct hit! The leak became visible at the marked location, approximately 1.80 meters deep and 10-15 mm long. At a pressure of 5 bar, it caused a water loss of about 15-20 m³ per day.
Once again, our technology proved its worth and another leak in the drinking water network of the town of Baunach was successfully repaired.
