Drinking water is our most valuable resource. Every cubic meter lost means rising costs.
Participants learn practical basics of leak detection, how to operate the equipment, and how to use it in the field. They also benefit from directly exchanging experiences with colleagues from the industry.
Training description
Practical teaching of sound knowledge of device operation
- Theoretical fundamentals of leak detection
- Practical exercises, definition of water losses, and strategies for loss reduction
- Zone measurement, pre-location, and point location
- Software and cloud solutions
- Flow measurement (stationary/portable)
- Noise logger systems
- Electroacoustic listening devices
- Introduction to correlator measurement technology
- Acoustic line location
Please bring sturdy shoes and weather-appropriate clothing. You are welcome to bring your own equipment, but equipment is also available on site.
When and where?
The training courses take place in Baunach and are limited to a maximum of 20 participants per course. Registrations will be considered in the order in which they are received.
There are two dates available for 2026: April 14–17, 2026, and October 13–16, 2026. Each course lasts four days. The course begins at 9:00 a.m. on the first day and ends at around 12:00 p.m. on the last day.
The participation fee is €1,650.00 per person plus statutory VAT. Hotel costs are not included in the participation fee.
