The Li-metal cell (hereinafter referred to as battery) in the SmartEAR® lasts up to 9 years, depending on usage and environmental conditions. This eliminates the need for costly regular battery changes and ensures that the device remains reliable in use for many years.
Since the battery is not permanently installed, it can be replaced if necessary without having to replace the entire device. SmartEAR® is therefore a low-maintenance, long-term solution for leak detection.
